The School of Communication will present a screening of the documentary film, “Miss Representation,” on Feb. 19 at 6 p.m. in Hendrix Theatre. The film, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2011, is a documentary
critical of the representations of women in the media. From reality television to situation comedies to Hillary Clinton’s hair, this film brings up lots of interesting issues for students and others. It also offers both male and female perspectives. Following the film, faculty from Communication, Anthropology, Women’s Studies
and Film Studies will host a panel discussion. There will also be a reception afterwards. The screening is a Passport Event!
