The School of Communication is proud to announce Samantha Jimenez as the 2012 CommCrew Scholarship recipient. A native New Yorker, currently calling Apex, N.C. her home, Jimenez enjoys working out at the Student Recreation Center, participating as an active member in PRSSA, meeting new people, and planning events for the Residence Hall Association in Greene Hall.

“My main career goal is to be successful in public relations. I hope to have a career as an event planner of some sort, such as corporate or non-profit events. I want to be able to help all of my future clients and successfully inform the public,” Jimenez said.

Jimenez is very passionate and proud to be a communication major at East Carolina University and is looking forward to continuing her studies with the School of Communication.
