This Symposium will engage participants in discussions about ethical responsibilities of public universities, the value of public service to campuses and communities, the ethical dilemmas arising from public service, the rewards to all involved, and the ethical responsibilities. Participants will include faculty, staff, students from ECU, local community colleges and universities and their community partners.
At the end of this Symposium participants will be able to:
The Symposium is a partnership between five ECU units (Office of Public Service and Community Relations, the Office of Human Research Integrity, the Faculty Senate Service Learning Committee, the Office for Faculty Excellence, and the Volunteer and Service-Learning Center) and North Carolina Campus Compact.
